FAQ/POLICY

PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ ALL ANSWERS BELOW PRIOR TO BOOKING.

The answers to these questions make up the Crowned by Dan policy to be followed by all clients. If you have a question that still hasn't been answered above, then please do not hesitate to contact us via email! We cannot wait to clarify all your questions and concerns and get all of our queens, Crowned by Dan.

Must I come to my appointment with my hair blowdried and conditioned for braids?

No! For braids, the only requirement is that your hair must be freshly washed, not greasy and properly detangled. However, for the best possible slay blowdrying your hair (with the use of heat protector) is recommended. For hairstyles such as feed-in braids and knotless braids, attending your appointment with your hair blowdried is a requirement.

Can I bring a plus one to my appointment?

Unfortunately there is not enough space to accommodate plus ones so please do attend all appointments alone. Thank you for understanding and co-operating!

Can I book outside of designated hours?

Yes, however, these must be booked via email and come at an additional £20 cost*. If you require an emergency appointment (less than 48 hours notice) these are an additional £15 and must be booked via email.

*For appointments before 9am and from 6pm onwards

What happens if I am late to my appointment?

We understand that life happens sometimes, therefore we allow a 20 minute grace period. If you are 20 minutes late this results in a £10 fee. Being up to 30 minutes late results in a £20 fee, after which point your appointment will be cancelled and deposit forfeited. 

I have very short hair, can I still get crowned by Dan?

Yes, as long as your hair is at least 3-4 inches long, you can get crowned! If you are still unsure, you can always send pictures of your hair via email for clarification.

Are the extensions included in the price of the service?

No, extensions are not included in the price. However, they can be purchased from us directly, otherwise, they would need to be purchased by the client and dropped off at least 3 days prior to the appointment to avoid a fee.

What's your cancellation policy?

You can cancel your appointment up to 48 hours before your appointment and receive a full refund of your deposit. However, any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit your deposit.

How do I pay my remaining balance?

Your remaining balance should be paid in cash on the day of your appointment.
